| v. 28 Ignoring God |
|
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; God wants a relationship with His people, but some people don't want to know God. They want to ignore God and pretend that God doesn't exist. They don't want to hear God because they don't want to do what is right and good. They want to define "right" and "good" for themselves. They want to be their own gods. They want to do things their own way. They don't want to come to the light, so they are blind on purpose, and they really have no clue as to what is going on. So, God gives them over to a totally useless mind that does things that are stupid, ugly, mean, nasty, and self-destructive.
How can we know anything about anything? That’s the real question |
